It took me sometime to make another post, this is because I wanted to prepare something diferent for my fellow youths. I wrote this through the knowledge I got from different books and personal experience. I hope you will understand it!

Every one makes mistakes in daily lives, and at one point we need to make an apology so as to make relationship with others back to normal again. There is no way someone can stand and say he/she is always right.

What is a ‘mistake’?
- According to Oxford Advanced Learners dictionary it defines a ‘mistake’ as ‘an action or opinion that is foolish or wrong’’
From this you can have a clear picture on how many mistakes you do in a week if not everyday.

How we do mistakes.
These mistakes can be of two forms, and that is as an action or as an opinion.

Going back to your dictionary we can see that an action is the process of doing something, and that is by the use of energy of influence. Therefore a good example of the mistakes we do under action we can express them simply as; being in the wrong place at right time, doing right things at wrong place, doing wrong things to right things (destroy someone’s or public property). So simply we can say these are mistakes which are as a result of our physical deeds/conduct/manners or behaviors.

An opinion can be simply defined as a belief or judgment about somebody or something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. For this opinion to bring an effect it must be expressed, and the major way of expression of these opinions should be in words.
Major difference between opinion mistakes and action based mistakes is the way each is performed. Action based mistakes are activity in nature while opinion mistakes are spoken beliefs of judgments.
Remind you,
1. A belief or judgment might be right (Example;you think someone is a
thief –it might be true or not true)
Therefore an opinion before spoken it can be wrong or right.

2. An opinion can be a view/ belief/ judgment/ outlook/ idea.

Therefore we can have two types of opinion based mistakes
a. Speaking right things at wrong time (Example; speaking of a football game to your friend who is busy studying.)
b. Speaking of an idea you can’t prove. (Example; sharing with your friend about your thought that someone is a thief while there is no proof for it. It might be you saw him stealing but it’s only you who saw it-so it can’t be proved. )
NB; Everyone will take you as you have committed a mistake by you claiming someone is a thief while you can’t prove it. So it’s a result you did not want though your intentions were good.

Effects of Mistakes may be hurting you friend(s) even though this wasn’t what you wanted or expected.


APOLOGIZING

There is need for us to understand some concepts before we move on;

To apologize ‘is to say that you are sorry for something wrong or causing a problem’

An apology is ‘a word or statement saying sorry for something that has been done wrong or that causes a problem’.

Remind you, we are all human we do mistakes here and there. So doing mistakes is not what matters most but what matters most is how responsible or accountable do we feel after doing them. The feeling of responsibility or accountable is the guilty emotion we get after realizing the mistakes we just did.

The guilty emotion/feeling is important, because it drives us to the act of apologizing.

Plus,
the higher the guilty emotion/feeling the higher the possibility of not repeating the same mistake.
I mean no matter what type of mistake you committed the emotional pain (caused by the guilty feeling) will force you to recheck your steps and tune yourself to avoid repeating the same mistake.

Therefore we can say,
the guilty emotion/feeling, which causes emotional pain, is important in the process of apologizing. This is because it acts as a driving force to the need of apologizing.


YOU NOW WANT TO APOLOGIZE,
BUT HOW?
This is where most of us face difficulties. We have realized that we have committed a mistake (be a direct one or indirect one), and we feel the guilt (mostly as a result of a direct mistake) or the emotional pain (mostly as a result of indirect mistakes).

These feelings drives us to the need of apologizing, remind you when I talk about apologizing it includes apologizing for the un-intended or indirect mistakes e.g. talking about someone being a thief and you can’t prove it and now everyone is pointing his finger at you. There is no any other way you can make everything alright than apologizing; telling it out un-considerate of the outcome was a mistake so make everything alright by taking that blame, taking it by apologizing.

This is the only way you will free your mind from emotional pain and return the life to normal as it was before. Am talking about avoiding emotional pain because the act of all your friends/mates have doubts about (suspicion) what you have said/claimed, will lead them to have a certain view of you that will hurt you psychologically. But believe me if you will decide to stand and be responsible of what you have said it will give a you a clear of mind and rebuild the relationship/association you had with your mates.

Therefore you will have to take the outcome of what you can’t prove (though deeply it’s a true thing and you know you are right) as an indirect mistake, and the only way to make everything alright isn’t the power of arguing but an apology.


Note there are difference between forms and types of mistakes;

Forms;
1. Action based mistakes
2. Opinion based mistakes
Types;
1. Direct mistakes (deeply inside you know you are guilty of them, meaning you did the wrong actions or opinions purposively at a given time).
2. Indirect mistakes (you did or said a right thing, but now everyone believes negatively about you. Everyone considers/believes that you are guilty and you can’t make them see the truth, meaning you can’t prove your innocence).

Every type of a mistake has its own way of apologizing. This is because as we see there is a big difference between these two types of mistakes therefore each type has its own way of apologizing.

Here is the interesting part, lets see;
Þ APOLOGIZING FOR DIRECT MISTAKES.
As I pointed earlier these type of mistakes is always accompanied by the high feeling of guilty inside you, and it’s very easy for you to realize it because it’s from a intended action/opinion.

What and how to do it!
After realizing the need of apologizing, this is either by personal will or due to pressure from your mates/society you need to sit down and reflect on the importance of apologizing and the right things to say in your apology;

Remember the right and true reasons of you doing a specific action or saying a specific opinion that the society and personally you know its wrong.
Don’t lie!


Go to the person(s) you did/said wrong about, and tell him/her (/them) how sorry you are about what you did or said about. Make sure there nothing like joking in it, because no one accepts cheap apology. Make sure you mean what you say, articulate how sad you of the outcome of the mistake you did. If there is any way you can make up for it then promise to do it and do it.

Listen to his/her opinions no matter how mad s/he (/them) will be to you, stay calm and absorb what is said. Something may sound stupid to you but as long as you real need the apology stay calm and wait, never arise any arguments.

At the same time be brief avoid speaking too much because in real sense the person(s) you did wrong will automatically want to express their feelings so give them time and encourage them to take out all their pain/grievances through words. Stay calm and show concentration in what is said, where they want your participation be co operative.

At the end shake hands and promise not to repeat the mistake again, and let this be the truth. I understand mistakes happen but make sure that no matter what you avoid getting into the same mistake again.
Understand the value of living happily with people in your given society, be school, office or at home!


Þ APOLOGIZING FOR INDIRECT MISTAKES.
Wooh! I hope am not tiring you up, am I? I Guess No!
Now lets come to the way of apologizing for indirect mistakes, this type of mistakes always bring a lot of problems when it comes to apologizing. This is because someone knows s/he is right by saying/doing a certain thing plus the personal human ego that sees the act of apologizing as the biggest way of underestimating one’ self.

But I want to tell you that, the act of apologizing when you are supposed to is a highest way of showing the degree of maturity and civilization.

What and How to do it!
First you have to calm down and think about what has happened e.g. everyone is mad at you for saying or doing a certain act that you are sure you are aren’t guilty of or claiming a certain thing that you now can’t prove it to them.

Think about the disadvantages that will take place if you won’t take any step toward finding a solution to the situation. Maybe you have already even argued a lot to convince them but it didn’t work out, and now you asking yourself ‘what the hell have I done?’ regretting no matter how good your intentions were for saying or doing a certain act that everyone now sees you just committed one of the biggest mistake and you can’t prove your good intentions.
Automatically you will find yourself with need for a different friendly approach than arguing, so as to return everything back to normal. Make everything alright!

The second step after that is you setting your mind to accept a mistake and show others that you are as sorry and guilty as claimed!
I promise you after you apologizing if you aren’t real guilty sometime someday when everything is nearly totally forgotten someone will realize your innocence. And know that,
it doesn’t matter how many people trust you what matters is how much you trust yourself!

The third step is for you to follow the person(s) you did the mistake to (remind you it’s an indirect mistake), and give an apology (‘a word or statement saying sorry for something that has been done wrong or that causes a problem’).
The difference here from the way an apology is in ‘direct mistakes’ is that in apologizing for indirect mistakes you may need even to lie so as to convince the other people on how sorry you are.

Let me be clear here,
For “indirect mistakes you may need even to lie so as to convince the other people on how sorry you are. All with the aim of creating a better understanding in the given society”

I am saying this because of psychological reason and that is it’s very difficult for someone to accept an apology that s/he believes the other person isn’t feeling guilty of. The point here is that express how much you feel guilty and sorry of what has happened without keeping yourself out of it even though deeply inside you know you aren’t guilty as s/he (/them) claims.

Next steps are just like the ones for direct mistakes and that are;

One thing that you should keep in your mind through all the process of apologizing for indirect mistakes is that;
You are not selfish, you are not thinking of yourself only,
But what matters to you is all society’s or friends’ happiness, and that is what life is.
As long as the people around you are smiling to you, you will automatically smile back, but think about all people passing you without smiling to you, you will feel the whole world hating you.
The moment you open your mind to unselfish attitudes you will find getting what you never expected from your friends! So take it simple,
Apologize for indirect mistakes because at the end of the day they remain to be mistakes!


FORGIVING!

Let’s first see the ‘forgiving’ in a nutshell. Forgiving is the willing to forgive somebody, from oxford advanced learner’s dictionary (7TH Edition) ‘forgive’ is describe as;
Forgive1 – ‘to stop feeling angry with somebody who has done something to harm, annoy or upset you; to stop feeling angry with yourself’

It’s very bad when someone does or says something that ends up hurting us mainly by spoiling our reputation and respect. It always hurt the most when people we real trusted and respected ending hurting us.

Sometimes we end up hating them and believe that they don’t even deserve our forgiveness.

But what we forget is don’t us also making mistakes in our lives? Are always right? Do hating someone the real cure? Meaning is it making everything alright? Do we think optimal? Meaning, do we consider the nature of the mistake done? Was intended?

If you ask yourself those questions you will automatically see what am talking about, and that is the realization of presence of indirect and indirect mistakes. And knowing that,
Through forgiving we show ‘the highest degree of maturity and civilization that we have’.

We show that we understand the human nature and that is no body has ever lived twice, therefore we live and learn from our mistakes being direct or indirect mistakes. Through forgiving someone we give a chance to someone to review and renew his/her attitude/behavior through the advice we give them when they ask for our forgiveness.

What I mean here is that until someone has decided to come to ask for your forgiveness that person has passed through an emotional journey that many can’t.
It’s worth forgetting our ego, and offer forgiveness and forgets the past. Knowing that us too one day one time we will need forgiveness from people we love the most be either due to direct or indirect mistakes that we did to them.


In the other side of a coin, if you are the person who needs forgiveness from a person(s) you committed a mistake to, by the time you decide to go to apologize you should know these two things;
You can be forgiven.
You can also not be forgiven.

I want to tell you that what matters most is the realization of your mistake.
Learning from mistakes and change worth more happiness than forgiveness of 1000000000000000 people!

Why am I saying so?
Think of it, all those people forgiving you then two days later you commit the same mistake! It’s not worth it!
And even if someone hasn’t forgiven you but your changes after the mistake measures/worth more in front of your God and noble people/optimal thinkers than forgiveness without change.

Am ending up saying that,
Through forgiving and apologizing, we show how civilized, humanized, considerate, unselfish, loving, caring and educated we are!
And remember,
Apologize for indirect mistakes because at the end of the day they remain to be mistakes!
Keep no hate in your heart pal!

A BETTER TODAY FOR EVERY AFRICAN CHILD!

As the international day of Child of Africa has been cerebrated, from my view I can say we are witnessing people who are willing to make changes, raising their voices for the better of African children, at the other hand we witness African governments which are willing in political gestures but with no practical willingness. It ends in promises during election campaigns and it’s never seen after people getting into their seats.

Okay, maybe lets be not too much radical, we can say this may be due to two reasons; either due to ignorance to the issue when they take office or financial inability our so called ‘third world countries’ governments’.
With an average of more than 100 deaths in 1000 children births before their fifth birthday {e.g. 191 of every 1000 in Nigeria, 121 of every 1000 in Kenya, 1 in 4 children in Ethiopia, Angola.- www.endpoverty2015.org} all across Africa still we cant promise a better future for the surviving ones.

We can’t promise a better future because Poverty, HIV/AIDS, drug abusing, sexual exploitation, civil wars and many other problems will likely swallow the surviving children.

With these problems all across Africa we can see how difficult it is to be an African child. It’s your duty, it’s my duty, its OUR DUTY TO CONTRIBUTE CHANGES SO AS TO PROMISE THESE CHILDREN NOT ONLY A BETTER TOMORROW BUT A BETTER TODAY!
As we know the history of this remarkable day, 16th June, let’s show respect and honor for all the youths who took part in the Soweto uprising by fulfill their desired goal. Let us create a good life, physically and emotionally, for every African child.

Tanzanian Youth Should Match Words With Action

Over 3 years ago, I wrote the article "When talk alone is cheap" the issues that I espoused have not changed significantly since then, what has changed though is the growth of the Tanzania blogosphere, from uhurumaoni.org to the nifahamishe.com, you will agree with me that the power brokers are paying some attention to what Tanzanians have to say, sadly, that is where it ends, except for a few charitable acts here and there, the EPA SCANDALS , DOWANS , TRL , etc, the Tanzanian blogosphere in my opinion has not effectively utilized its medium to demand for and get the change it desires. With hundreds and possibly thousands of active, well informed bloggers, the Tanzanian blogosphere ought to retool and harness its human capital in the fight to take Tanzania back.It is refreshing to read SIMBAKALIA and MAHANGA narrative on his attempt to take Tanzanian back one village at a time, this is a good start but we all need to join in this effort. We can start from our wards, villages and Regions. While on the subject of taking Tanzania back, I want to call our attention to an assumption that I have noticed within the Tanzanian blogosphere, its what I call an acute distrust of anyone or any ideal that does not come to our self proclaimed idea of political puritanism. In this case, you will find the most vicious critic of Mwanakijiji , Ndesanjo Macha, Ngurumo, and a host of other promising progressive Tanzanians. While I am not suggesting that criticism is not appropriate, infact it is necessary, I do however believe that our criticism should be couched in political reality. These group of men and women may not have lived up to our best ideals all the time but they are certainly and I say this without any equivocation, they are a far cry from what Tanzania has lived through within the last three decades.What is needed here is a collaborative effort between the Tanzanian blogosphere and those who are on the ground in Tanzania, the ones that are showing signs of promise, we need to encourage them, correct them constructively when we think they are wrong and work in partnership with them to usher in the Tanzania of our dreams. I believe it is as poignant then as it is now."When talk alone is cheap" Am not going to bore you all with the same over flogged rhetoric, that Tanzania doesnt have reliable energy, that most of our infrastructures are in dilapidated regions , that our healthcare delivery is in shambles, our security agencies ram shackled, that even though our constitution calls for a system of government, we are in fact a unitary state and that with the rest of the woes facing this nation, the Tanzanian people have been greatly traumatized in the process.The issue now is, since we have identified most of the ills facing our nation and in most cases also offered solutions, what do we do next? Are we just going to be armchair commentators or soldiers in the battlefield of freedom? I declare that talk is cheap when it is not backed by action, Tanzanians in the Diaspora have a great opportunity to live and work in an environment where their labor is rewarded handsomely, they should use whatever leverage they have to press home to the Tanzanian government that good living ought not to be a preserve of the rich and mighty in Tanzania alone but that the governments primary responsibility is in creating an enabling environment for prosperity to thrive for all.We have to note that there has been a pattern amongst past and present Tanzanian leadership. More often than not, they are anti people, morbidly corrupt, oppressive and utterly totalitarian. The result has been the continued deterioration of every facet of life of the Tanzanian people. As you read this, the average life span of a Tanzanian is at 47 years! How pathetic!!Because of this kind of leadership, we as a people have been tuned to forever criticize and compare one bad government to another. Now it is my humble opinion that we need to do more. The Slaas , Mwakyembes et al have done their part, the torch should pass on to younger Tanzanians both in the Diaspora and in the motherland, all hands must be on deck to wrestle Tanzania out of the hands of the thieving class that has become its albatross. The following are ways that I think we can do this:The formation of a strong multi ethnic coalition with card carrying members both in the Diaspora and in the motherland They should have a constitution that would not be ambiguous and one that will be ratified by all founding members. ( THAT’S WHY I STARTED BIDII Bidii - Afrika Mashariki Google Groups ) A standing committee with clearly defined tenure that will carry out the day to day activity of the organizations should be put in place. Their agendas should be clearly spelt out, its primary goal should be to promote good governance in Tanzania using legitimate channels to achieve this. In the Diaspora, these organizations will be saddled with carrying out seminars, workshops etc and protest marches whenever any high ranking government official is visiting. Its standing committees will provide the logistics for these. The standing committees will also be responsible for lobbying members of the United States congress and other European parliaments. Besides the annual stipends that will be contributed by card-carrying members, the committees will also have the mandate to seek for funds from individuals, foreign governments and multi national corporations. All affairs of these organizations must be transparent and democratic in order for it to be credible.With well coordinated efforts, these organizations will have favorable legislation passed on its behalf demanding good government accountability from Tanzania. They can also participate in the Tanzanian national assembly by sending forth pro-growth bills to the body, the issue of our Union and the workability or otherwise of the present constitution should take front and center. Finally, after careful consultation within its members and with some financial stability, these organizations can metamorphose into a political party and continue to set agenda for the nation.I submit that if we as a people can fight for what rightfully belongs to us instead of just talking about it, we can indeed move a long way towards the free and prosperous Tanzania that we dream of. I HAVE A DREAM!

“A Better Future Begins Today!”
Tanzanian vijana [youths] like our counter parts in other developing nations especially the ones falling in the sub-Saharan region, we face many challenges and problems in our daily life as we make our way into adulthood.[ ‘Young people in all regions of the world, experience some degree of difficulty or uncertainty as they make the transition into adulthood. However, the situation that youth in Africa face is one of the most difficult in many respects.’ WORLD YOUTH REPORT 2007, page 79].
These challenges include Poverty, H.I.V/AIDS, Drug abuse, Globalization, Education sector, Gender issues and Cultural issues.
Many youths activist always concentrate on H.I.V AIDS only as a major challenge facing Tanzanian youths therefore there has been lack of programs dedicated to cover other challenges like poverty, globalization and cultural moral issues. There is a need to have a better project with programs that takes the youths who are part of the situation to give our own views of the challenges we face in our daily life. A need for us to have our own FORUM, where we are not only the organizers of programs but also the major participants of debates on the challenges and how we can face and win these challenges..
There is a need for support in our struggle, a need of unity and more than anything the need of awareness of the challenges we are facing. It’s obvious very difficult to face a challenge that you are not much aware of. TZ KIJANA PROJECT is a place for uniting and educating the youths on the challenges that surrounds us, but not only that, the TZ KIJANA PROJECT will act as a place where the youths will get the space to get their views heard.

TZ KIJANA PROJECT goal is to have youths who are well aware of the challenges they are facing and ways to overcome them, therefore TZ KIJANA PROJECT mission will be to spread that awareness and give forums for discussions on the challenges so as to bring more understanding to the youths and society in general.
The project will run through use of media such as Internet and TV Programs. The programs under the project includes a TV SHOW, VOLUNTEER WORK, A YOUTHS BLOG,

If you will ask me where have I been in the past months, it will be a difficult question to answer, but I can assure you one thing and that is I have been through a lot for experience gaining and also personal development.

So, here I am, am back..

Last year I had to face my form 4 National examinations, so had to real get busy, that was from August to September last year. After that, I was in Dar and Dodoma having great time with my family till late December when I moved to Zanzibar where I can say I got one of my greatest times to be cherished forever!

At a certain time I volunteered as a Batler for Hotel Del Este{under Plan Hotels Ltd} before joining one of the greatest music festival organisers in Africa, Busara Promotions, where I volunteered as a Press Assistant Co-ordinator to organise one of the "The friendliest festival on Planet Earth." - Tanzania's Daily News, Sauti za Busara 2009 Music Festival.

Currently, am taking my A Level studies at Scolastica High School in Himo Town, KILIMANJARO.

Am proud to say that, I will do my best to have new posts as early as possible and believe me I got that spirit!

It's real unbelievable! Our schools, secondary school, are in great debt that schools have to be closed early for mid year holiday. What is this meaning? The government is unable to pay the food suppliers?

THE EAST AFRICA COMMUNITY TO E.A FEDERATION!-my view!

Thanks guys for the nice few comments you gave on the topic ''THE EAST AFRICA COMMUNITY TO FEDERATION!''. I didn't want to give my view before hearing your view.

HERE IS WHAT I THINK!

Firstly the idea of E.A Federation is a great thing, socially, economically without forgetting politically. It shows how much our E.African leaders are united in promoting what we may call an African unity. But still there something that worries me! Its about the youth of the East Africa! What is my point in here? What I say is that we shouldn't move in such great pace, because we may forget to look what we see as small things/issues but they may cause a great damage in the future. On my follow up I got about the E.A Community youth council, what we should ask is how many youths in this East African countries know about it, what are its functions? How are the members elected? That isn't the point, but the point is the E.A Community shouldn't forget the voice of youths, because if these determine the future of the region, if they wont understand properly the advantages of the community or the federation I'm telling you it wont take long, it will change to history. The youth need to be aware of this federation topic, the youth council{if it real exists, and if it has got real serious youths} must play a big part in this.
Secondly, there is the issue of national unity. As one reader gave a comment ''the big problem of East Africa is and will be-we have more than 200 tribes that we can't control''. The North Uganda problem has to solved, the Kenya tribalism has to be solved, the Zanzibar CUF-CCM has to solved too, then we can talk about a FEDERATION! A HAPPY FEDERATION MUST BE BUILT BY HAPPY MEMBERS!!!

A NEED OF A NATIONAL YOUTH PARLIAMENT OR COUNCIL!

My today’s post may sound funny but it has to be taken in consideration. What do I real want to talk about today? Or what do I real want to say?
A NEED OF A NATIONAL YOUTH PARLIAMENT OR COUNCIL! Is it ringing in your minds? Don’t worry if it doesn’t now it will as you go on reading this post, and if you will still be on the other side I believe you one day be on my side.
Is there real a system of uniting youths in your country? Or minimize it to your region. Is there any? Possibly not, and if its there I doubt if it has the influence or support it needs so as to run in its required state. The voice of the youths has to be heard! Its time our governments and thee community in general to realize our importance in the cultural, political and economical development our nations. I believe if we, youths, will be given the attention we need we are going to make changes in our society. I believe if we will be encouraged enough, and realize that our society understand and believe in us, I’m sure we’ll do something for our nations. I wont use this time to talk about youths’ capabilities, I think you will get that from my other posts but what I’m going to say in this post is my desire for a formation of a known and respected council where youths representing different areas of their country my seat and discuss about matters from cultural, political to economical issues from the level of youths themselves to that of their country in general.
In other words I can say there is a need of YOUTH EMPOWERMENT in our societies and nations in general. Referring to the UNITED NATIONS, WORLD YOUTH REPORT 2007, anyone who had a chance to pass your eyes on it you must be impressed. Yeah! There is a need to be impressed! There is a part which talks about the governments taking actions; this includes a formation of volunteering programs a good example includes my country, Tanzania.This programs if they aren't given much advetise they are not going to mean anything. There is A REAL NEED OF UNITING THE YOUTHS, WE ARE THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRIES, OUR CONTINENTS AND A FUTURE WORLD TOO....HEY if you aren't aware, YOUTHS MAKES A NEARLY HALF OF THE PRESENT WORLD POPULATION!

UNITED NATIONS!!TOO NEAR OR TOO FAR FROM THE YOUTHS!

It’s where I am much interested in. I mean it's the only job in the world where I can sign a 'life-time' job. The United Nations Organization is the place where I keep my effort to reach, because i see it has much influence in the world. I don't know if much work has been done to bring it closer to the youths especially Africa, I like to say it clear that even the future of the United Nations power and influence lies in the hands of the present youths in the world. Therefore there is much work and funding to educate the youths about the importance of the United Nations in our present and future life. Why do I say that?
If you are youth and even if you aren't one, try to bring the topic about the United Nations in school, work or anywhere with people to comment, i bet it more than 60% will say there is nothing much than certain countries who control everything in the UN. I say this because I've been in it too much. People don't trust the UN, and it's not them to be blamed much but I argue the United Nation to educate people. I'm glad that on my own effort I tried hard to know the United Nation that on my own I was able to establish a UN Youth Club at my school, but ask me what support do I get? Its nothing, there is a country network but honestly speaking I am not sure if they do anything to spread the UN among the youths of our country to deserve praises.

I feel lucky that I know the importance of the UN, but its hurting me when i think about my other fellows, there is the 'WORLD YOUTH REPORT' latest published in 2007, it has very important issues for the youths to know but i tell you it may be 1 youth in 5000 who even heard of it in my country.. And the bad thing is that we have youth delegates to the United Nations youth summits which takes place yearly at the UN Headquarters in New York, I call it bad because there is nothing that they do to spread what they discussed or even introduce the United Nations to Youth of our country.
I finish by emphasizing, THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRIES, OUR PLANET,OUR PEACE LIES IN THE HANDS OF THE YOUTHS!

Its My Right To Think This Way!

I'm an African Child,
a African youth....a African dream..
born in a beautiful continent...
with beautiful resources all around...
but i cant believe why is it the way i see it...

I'm getting the worse education..
poor learning conditions..
poor emotional help from the national leaders...
sometime I wish to run away from the reality..
I wish I was born abroad...
thinking maybe things would have been different...

Everyday i hear bad news from the media...
My African leaders are stilling our hope..
millions of dollars are to-god-knows-where banks..
money which was supposed to uplift my hope...
money to be spent in public social services...
now is being spend in god-knows-places by leaders..

YOUTH, I WANT A CHANGE!

THE FUTURE OF AFRICAN YOUNG PEOPLE!

It is the future that many look at, its the future that matters much. When we talk about African youths' future we should know we also talk about the African continent future. I mean in order to see a bright future of Africa continent we must make sure we have a bright future for the young people of Africa.
The African governments must realize the importance of the youth in their countries, they should make sure they create an atmosphere where by the youth can learn about their country and Africa in general, they should do their best to help the youth build patriotism towards their countries and continent in general.

If you try to ask just some of the African youth about what they feel to be in Africa and maybe if they get some thousands dollars what will they do you will find most of them talking about leaving Africa for abroad mainly the west, we should be shameful of this, the main reason is that the governments have leave back the idea of looking for a way to create a patriotic ideas in the minds of its youth who assures the future of their countries and the African continent.

What I want to say to my African leaders who mostly are old people is that the future of Africa lies in your hands, the way you treat or behave towards the youths, it has a great effects in our minds, we, youths. When I hear about corruption scandals against our African leaders it hurts me, and furthermore its discouraging. Is it true? I pray for it to be lies.
We should know that the youths are people who like to take an older person mistake as an authorization to misbehave. And it also discourage patriotism, humans love good praises it hurts to be a patriotic of a corrupted and poor country.

The governments must show that they real mean when they talk about bringing development to their countries, cause if nothing changes the youth will be the first to judge and out of it they may hate to be born in their countries, and you can guess what will next happen.

WILL WE WIN THE BATTLE AGAINST H.I.V AIDS?

Every 17 seconds a girl is raped in South Africa. That is what I heard from Aljazeera News English, something like early December. It's an astonishing thing. If this wont be taken seriously i'm not sure if we will accomplish what we are calling an H.I.V free Africa. We should understand this means more than 5000 galz are raped each day and if we look properly at the ratio of H.I.V infection in SA it means more than 180ppl are affected each day now multiply that number by 365, the numbers are astonishing.! Something must be done, according to Aljazeera there are no tight laws against raping. Laws, very tight laws. The government must show its real serious when it comes to such matters. And in social point of view the society must understand the importance of good treaty to raped victims, its time to think even for a second what would you feel if you were in her shoe. Education to the people must be given priority, this will help to remove the evil beliefs such as raping a young girl/child can help to cure H.I.V. Leaders at different levels should participate in campaigns against H.I.V, from tribal leaders, community leaders, religious leaders to government leaders. I believe if youth will be given the first priority in matters concerning H.I.V AIDS them the battle will be ours. We will win. I believe an H.I.V free population can be created!

FOREIGN CULTURES A BIG THREAT TO OUR CULTURES!

Is there a solution? As Africa continent keeps on developing there are different negative and positive effects to its youths. Globallization intruduces us to different cultures, with little knowledge among the people the African youths are now exposed too much to foreign cultures expecially the west than their are own culture. The results are seen all over Africa, in towns, in the cities, everywhere. Its time that we should stop being quiet about it, ignoring pretending we dont see.
There are positive and negative impacts! But mostly negative,. I want you my reader to give your comment, lets share, give steps in which our governments and communities have to do so as to reduce the negative effects that faces our youths as a result of foreign cultures!
